The new Bioterrorism Act places new restrictions on all companies
involved in any way with the food supply into the United States
whether the company is located in the United States or anywhere
else in the world.

1) Timely and properly registering the facility with the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration to obtain an FDA Registration
Number. For each facility registered after the first facility
owned or operated by your company, there will be an additional
fee of just $100.00 per facility.
2) Appointment of the law firm of Becker & Poliakoff,
P.A. as the United States agent for the facility or facilities.
NOTE: All non-U.S. companies must appoint a United States
agent when registering with the FDA. As Agent we may receive
notices sent by the FDA to your company and transmit them
to you.
3) Advise on timely and properly completing the first Prior
Notice Submission Form which will be required as of December
12, 2003 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for all
food shipments sent to the United States. We will be available
to assist with subsequent Submission Forms at a small fee
for each such additional form where our assistance is requested.
4) Advise on records required to be maintained as ordered
by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
5) Provide periodic newsletters by mail and email to you
with updated information about new FDA and Customs policies,
issues and interpretations that may affect the conduct of
your business.
In addition, Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. attorneys are available
to help with any issues you may have on a continuing basis
related to the Bioterrorism Act and other U.S. laws.
We are available to promptly communicate with officials of
the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or the U.S. Customs
and Border Protection for any questions or problems that may
arise in connection with any food shipments to the United
States which have been examined, delayed, detained, or refused
entry into the United States. Any such services will be the
